Thank you Ms. P

This is our daughter’s official last year in the nutcracker. It has been a beautiful space and a wonderful holiday tradition for many years. I remember when we first came to the steps of the Academy Ballet of Arts, (“ABA”) We were looking for a place where our daughter could learn how to express herself physically and emotionally do the art of dance and connect with artists who are more open to persons with autism.

Suzanne Pomerantzeff, affectionately known as “Ms. P” and the many rising dancers over the years-helped us feel at home. Our family felt that our daughter was transformed by the experience.

We learned more about her every year in that ballet classroom. Dance helped her learn the importance of her body, how to communicate and the gift of presence.

Our family is forever grateful to ABA for what it did for our family and so many others.

Thank you Ms. P
