Kimberly G. Jackson

Attorney, political analyst, and thought leader, Kimberly has devoted her career to education, community leadership, and advocating for families who have minors with cognitive disabilities

Kimberly G. Jackson is a native of Crete, Illinois. She has her B.A. from Spelman College in Political Science, J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and MIPP from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Sciences. Ms. Jackson practiced locally in St. Petersburg and gained a passion for non-profit advocacy with family-oriented agencies. She transitioned from her legal career to education after her daughter was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. Her journey at St. Petersburg College was largely based on her commitment to equity. She held the position of Political Science Chair prior to becoming the Executive Director of the Institute for Strategic Policy Solutions, (ISPS).

Kimberly is dedicated to generational equity in all areas. She serves on the boards of Academy Prep, Governance Committee , Arts for A Complete Education, (ACE), Committee Member City of St. Petersburg, Public Arts Commission, co-chair sanitation project, Council of Parents, Attorneys and Advocates for those with Disabilities, Development Chair, Florida Civic Advance, Education, Statewide Conference Committees, Florida Economic Club Tampa Bay, Committee Member, Gulf Coast JFCS, Policy Committee Heart Gallery Advisory, and Workforce Advisory, St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, (SPAA) governance and educational committee, Tarpon Spring Sisters Cities Committee, YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg, Vice-Chair, Executive, Governance, Philanthropy, and Child-abuse Prevention.
