The fun never ends

Halloween may be over but the fun never ends! Watching our daughter prepare for several different costumes for Halloween was frustrating but also joyous. She literally bounced around from character to character trying to determine which costume would best suit her personality.

I honestly cannot tell you who she ended up being or who her friend was either. I do know this – she had FUN!

As we approach the holiday season it is important to stay ever mindful of these moments that matter.

Our daughter made a last-minute decision to go trick-or-treating. Her sensory issues are somewhat challenging and we never know what she will agree to. She called one of her best friends who thankfully was flexible enough with her plans to come and trick-or-treat with her. It made me think of our daughter’s first neurologist who said it only takes one friend.

One friend -in this case her best friend -made the difference. She had fun and because she did we were all smiles.

It is always the little things that matter.
