She’s a BIG girl now!

This week I spent a FULL week with my older kiddo-now officially an ADULT! She just finished her first year of her Ph.D program at Northwestern University and I was overdue to spend some quality time with her.

Well- I spent most of the week in MOMMY mode. We moved her from one apartment to another, shopped for necessities, ate well and had some quiet time in between. I LOVED it.

One night as she was sleeping I could not help but think how quickly this all happened- she grew up. Our daughter is no longer that little bundle of energy who followed our every move. She is fiercely independent, sharp, considerate and creative! I am in awe of her depth and determination to be exactly who she is.
