So for many many years I spent Thanksgiving in Virginia. I was taking care of my dear aunt who handled M.S. better than anyone I know. In any event when she passed I did not know what to do. Our entire family needed to “reset” Thanksgiving and well it was difficult. Then COVID and well my favorite holiday quickly became a depressing space.
We made an effort to make new traditions and began seeing other family members in our hometown.
It has been the biggest blessing to reconnect with this holiday and feel the gratitude I once felt simply being in the presence of family.
Holidays can be challenging for many. But when the glow hits you – you must embrace it.
So grateful for having a Happy Thanksgiving-Again!
