All mothers have the most rewarding and difficult job in the world — to raise another human being. You don't know what this looks like, of course. Although people try to tell you what it's like, there are just no words to describe motherhood until you enter it. When you layer that with challenges, you have a unique appreciation for how fragile life is. On this Mother's Day, I am grateful that both of my daughters acknowledged our journey and expressed gratitude for the life we tried to build for them. Thank you, girls! I would not have had it any other way!
