Finished Product

Our daughter had her last -LAST- LAST project this week and it was surreal. For months she has been learning about food insecurity to present in a final showcase to her teachers, professors, parents and peers. She did OUTSTANDING! I just watched in awe and thought of the many years of love poured into our daughter.
A person with ASD has so many sensory issues to deal with. Presenting while someone else is presenting, hearing echos of noises from other rooms, listening to people eat and focusing are incredibly difficult. BUT she did!
