Hi ho hi ho it’s off to camp we go!

After over a year of virtual life we are finally done! I cannot say how astoundingly proud I am of my daughter and her efforts to navigate the VIRTUAL world and overcome significant obstacles of isolation all while finishing strong. Looking at a screen for almost 10 hours a day is not healthy for young minds. In fact the amount of time she spent sitting down -negated her creativity and ability to enjoy the spontaneity of life.

Despite the challenges-SHE did it. I was so happy to see her smile at her own achievement. She deserves a break and we are off to camp. While I don’t know how she is going to re-acclimate into the general public, I do know it is beyond time!!

I have never been more excited about camping. At the end of the day we all want to hear we did a good job. For all the kids who are on the spectrum and survived this year – you are my heroes!
