I cannot believe we are actually here!

It’s getting real. Very real! Every day there are new avenues to explore as we transition our daughter with ASD into adulthood. One moment she seems very young and in need of significant guidance. In the very next moment she seems like such an adult. Lately we’ve been exploring how to do things alone. So I take her to specific places where she is safe and she can explore how to navigate life without her parents. Today was one of those moments where she walked off and said I’m OK. I cannot believe we are here!
