Keep the Hope Alive

Keep Hope Alive

This week I had the opportunity to see students in person. It was overwhelming to see so many bright young minds together and excited about graduation.  Academy Prep gave me the awesome gift of speaking to the eighth grade class of 2021.  The students gave me hope and about our future. For a class that ensured so much over this year- the students seemed completely balanced.

It was important to hear their voices and learn their dreams. It was important to share their accomplishments and understand their challenges over the year and learn their plans to navigate new schools as they move forward.

The graduation reminded me that whatever challenges we have in our personal spaces we are all the same in many ways.
We crave socialization!
We crave normalcy!
We crave contact!

I wish my daughter attended the graduation to see she is not alone. What I learned from this class is gratitude. I’m grateful to know that there are plethora of passionate students ready to pursue dreams in our community-and they will be a part of my daughter’s village.

Hope remains alive!
