Pure Joy!
We have these moments in our lives that we just cherish. There is no way to explain them other than to say that they are PURE JOY! It has been 30 years since I graduated from college this year – and I cannot believe it either – AND 32 years since I joined a circle of sister friendship – my sorority Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
Who knew that at the age of 19 years old I would find my friends for life. They are too many moments of love to reflect on. It is enough to simply say I have been blessed by my sisters and am eternally grateful for how they enriched my life.
My older daughter joined our fold in 2020. It was COVID and it was challenging but it was a beautiful moment. Fast forward to this year one of my dear sister’s daughters joined our fold as well. I cannot tell you how it felt to see the love in the room because we have come full circle. We know who we are, we know each other and love one another unconditionally. My sisters remain a constant in my life. Welcome to the fold babies. No way to express it other than to say PURE JOY!
