RUSH RUSH RUSH
The end of 2022 was hectic. Like so many I was ready for the holiday break. Then the holiday came and more RUSH, RUSH, RUSH!
My family and I traveled to Lisbon, Portugal after all the hustle and bustle and saw a whole NEW world. Fully aware that this is a cliché but I was in awe of the simplistic beauty of the people of Portugal.
- The pace was slower
- People were fully engaged
- No obvious bickering
- Just LIVING
I began thinking of the Road less travelled. We make choices daily that feed or suppress our spirit. Sometimes there are difficult choices when we are selecting our paths but we learn to appreciate the view.
Very grateful for a new outlook.
As the saying goes words without deeds is meaningless. As we honor MLK this year we should all be mindful of why he made the ultimate sacrifice and what it continues to mean to all of us.
