Self- Advocacy

Everyone needs access and support. Just think about it. You go abroad and don’t speak the language. You need to get around. What do you do? You use your support and self advocacy to navigate unfamiliar areas.

It is no different with people who are Neurodiverse. I recently learned a lot about the topic of ableism. I thought I knew what it was but in truth I did not know the depth of it. The Forbes article below provided significant enlightenment.

There is no way to truly share what it means to seek acceptance. We might try connecting with our hearts. Self-advocacy allows each of use to learn more about our paths.
