That’s what friends are for!

Our family is beyond blessed. We have a host of friends always willing to step in. Taking our daughter back to college this semester was rough. We were truly unsure about whether we were making the right decision. But our daughter said clearly that she earned the right to go back and she should not feel “less than” because she is Autistic. She was right! The beauty is she also knows who will care for her and when to ask. This past weekend our daughter called her God-mommy, CaMia Jackson to give her respite, help her with her clothes and have a good meal. It seems small but it is huge! Her ability to discern when she needs support is growth. I am beyond grateful for God-mother CaMia. She understands the true meaning of friendship and family.
