The DOG
So, we all know a dog is man’s best friend, but they are certainly a ton of work. In an earlier blog I shared that I bought a beautiful fluffy sheep-a-doodle for our daughter. To be fair he is earning his keep as her forever friend. He is loving and patient and funny and did I say tolerant!!! However, he is still a lot of WORK! I have now added another life to my already chaotic schedule. This joker wants constant attention. And- he will punish you if you do not give him the royal attention he deserves. While I could go on forever about his antics over his short little life of 5 months, I am grateful for his impact on my daughter. Dogs give love- unconditional love- daily and for no reason at all. My daughter is lighter, happier, less anxious, more responsible, and willing to experience life because of his presence. So- in-spite of my lack of sleep he is worth it.
