This is what happiness looks like!

This is what happiness looks like!

So, I made it home, by home I mean back to Chi-town. It was, as I keep saying, GREAT to be with my extended family.

Soooo now I am back home-in the community I have been a part of for 26 years- and it also felt good to be home. I started thinking about the cliche, HOME IS WHERE YOUR HEART IS.

I came to the conclusion that my heart is divided between the home that contributed to my health and well-being and the home where I gave and continue to give my all. What I have come to realize is that it is perfectly alright to plant your seed and patiently await a harvest- whenever and wherever it comes to fruition. The beauty of a harvest is sometimes you wait decades to see the fruits of your labor. But unexpectedly- you eventually witness a miracle from the seeds you planted. You experience elation and JOY. When you find JOY it truly only matters that you recognize it.

My beautiful family living in Illinois, back where my roots began and where my seeds were planted AND my beautiful family that evolved after we transitioned to Florida and planted our own seeds reflect a bountiful harvest. Our family is my heart wherever we thrive. This is what happiness looks like!
