Trust your instinct!
So Of course it is autism awareness month. Every year in this particular month my email is flooded with other advocates and parents searching for answers. I always wish I had more. I wish I had more to offer. I wish I had more to say. Looking back I cannot believe how fast the time went. In the midst of the challenges it is hard to process the joys. BUT are always these little nuggets that are divinely given to keep you cognizant of the importance of your role.
As mothers we simply want what is best. Our hopes and dreams NEVER die. It is no different when you shepherd a child on the spectrum.
SO – to all beautiful mothers charged with caring for a loved one on the spectrum. Trust your instinct. It will never fail you!
