This week I took my daughter to college, and it was not at all what I expected. I must say the experience was beyond my expectations.
Our daughter was excited, open, curious, helpful, and in her complete zone. It felt as if we were in the movie, “Inside Out” (By the way if you have not seen it is a MUST see). Anyway, the main character, Riley is a young girl full of emotions and we learn how each emotion impacts her life. That is how I felt watching Eme making her way to college.
Everything we worked for, all of the therapy, all the tears, all of the support, all of the prayers came together, and I could see in her eyes she was ready to SOAR! The feeling was incredible, exhilarating and warm.
She IS ready and her smile says it all!
