You gotta have FRIENDS!

I have known these two women for a really long time! In fact we all met in 2000, August to be specific- when we launched our legal careers. Stetson University College of Law was a dynamic place for us. It was the first time that we experienced an increased level of an African-American presence on the campus.

• We were supportive of each other,
• We were happy to be around each other, and
• We were excited for each of our beginnings.

Through the years we have managed to support our sisterhood circle through marriages, divorces, children, career changes and community obligations. I cannot believe it has been 20 years, BUT-I am so grateful for having my Stetson sisters in my life. You got to have Friends in this world.
