So, I am reminded daily that you have everything you need in life you just must tap into it. As we finalize for our family at least the last week of summer and try to navigate the new school year I am reminded of the many obstacles we’ve overcome and so blessed to say that we made it on the other side. OK thank you so much. I shared previously that I was going to try a new modality for learning-homeschool. I couldn’t be more pleased with my introduction into the platform. Her instructors have been overwhelmingly kind patient and willing to meet my daughter where she is.. My husband and I have been so much stressed about this because let’s face it this is high school it’s a big deal and we wanted her to have a more traditional experience but that is not going to happen and it’s important to understand at this juncture that we have what we need for this time. We are also blessed with a person who has been in our life for some time in a different capacity but has stepped up to be her special-needs educator. This will not be a traditional experience for us. But we were looking for and what we prayed for quite frankly with someone who would help our daughter learn how to transition from being a teenager to an adult. There are so many people who need this support. I am grateful that we have someone willing to step in the shoes and give our daughter the skill set she needs to survive in our society.. I am frequently reminded about the concept of perseverance and my favorite story is the tortoise and the hare. Of course, the moral of that story is slow and steady wins the race. Regardless of what’s going on in your space in your life right now take time to appreciate where are you been and where you are now.
